This quiz is based on the lessons in Class 7 of chessKIDS academy. The syllabus covers the Ruy Lopez and Petroff Defence, attacking and defending the castled King, mating combinations and more complicated King and Pawn endings.
The lessons can also be found in the Improvers' section (where they are indicated with seven asterisks) of the chessKID part of the website.
You have to answer 15 questions. Some are multiple choice. In the other questions you have to enter the name of a square or the move you would make using a keypad. There is no time limit so think very carefully before you answer each question. You are allowed to change your mind about any answer. The answers you have selected at the end of the quiz will be the ones that count for your final score.
