This quiz is based on the lessons in Class 4 of chessKIDS academy. You should take the quiz when you are sure you understand Scholar's Mate and how to prevent it, opening principles, forks, pins and skewers and King and Queen Checkmates.

The lessons can also be found in the Improvers' section (where they are indicated with four asterisks) of the chessKID part of the website.

There is no time limit so think very carefully before you answer each question. You are allowed to change your mind about any answer.
