Welcome to the battlefield. Please tell me what you'd like me to call you in this battle.

It's you against me, kiddo, in a KNIGHT COMBAT.

How many pawns do you think a knight can stop? Two? Three? Four?.

In these games you have a knight and I have some pawns. If you take all my pawns or stop me moving you win. If I get a pawn to the end without it being captured then I win.

When a pawn reaches the end it turns into a QUEEN (which moves like a rook or a bishop) - I will claim the win by playing a queen move.

If you prefer, you can play the pawns and I play the knight. Just click on the YOU START button and I'll turn the board round and make my first move.

Don't forget that you should always show respect to grownups by letting them win!
